The task:
A Bank needed to increase the sales volumes of their secured personal loans. However, the paperwork took time and interest rates were almost identical to those of unsecured loans. And these could be granted within minutes of a satisfactory credit check. We had to persuade their sales force to promote and successfully sell the most difficult product in their portfolio. And hit target!
A different approach?
We designed and produced the materials for a novel incentive and motivation programme to focus attention on the product. This was achieved by rewarding and recognising top performers. The scheme was launched with the world's largest personalised poster, individually produced for each of the 100 Managers. The colour poster featured their personal targets and a welcome message - and just couldn't be ignored. A series of product workshops were organised and through branded campaign communications, sales tips were promoted along with case studies of exceptional performers. The result, targets achieved and the balance between sales of secure and unsecured loans restored
